The sound of music and drums has been the center of Trevian “Tre” Chandler’s life from the tender age of three. Ever since the day he played on a little white drum set in his Mother’s classroom, this prodigy has been hooked on the expression of music and the feelings it inspires.
These experiences only fueled Tre to excel at drums with a playing style that can be only described as the sound of hip-hop fused with rock, funk, gospel, soul, pop, experimental and jazz. His love, consistency and dedication in music have led him to present-day success.
Audiences, worldwide, have experienced Tre’s gift of music on multiple tours. This skilled Musician is featured in television shows, award shows, music festivals and sold-out venues. His skills have earned him spots in Bands for Hip-Hop Artists such as Asia Sparks, Mr. Cheeks, R&B artists such as Grammy Award Winners Estelle, Kenny Lattimore, Jon B., Doria Roberts and Ryan Toby, BET Award nominated Eric Roberson and Grammy Award nominated artists Jazmine Sullivan and Mario. Tre has also given his talents and performed alongside noted artists such as soul-crooner, Dwele, Grammy- Award nominated gospel artists, Tye Tribbett and Martha Munizzi. He showed musicianship nationally and internationally during worldwide tours. The twenty-nine year-old shared stages with featured artists Jay-Z, Gym Class Heroes, The Roots, Jeff Lober, Laura Izibor, John Legend, Solange Knowles, Musiq, Sean Kingston, Charlie Wilson, Jodeci, Dru Hill, Keith Sweat, and Flo Rida. He also displayed his chops at large shows for H&M’s “Fashion Against Aids” collection, Taste of Chicago, the Essence Music Festival, London’s Glastonbury Festival, the Nationwide Mercury Prize Awards and its annual Vodafone Awards along with Germany’s Dome 46 show, St. Lucia’s internationally-acclaimed Jazz Festival, the Soul Beach Aruba Festival, and Europe’s largest wakeboard Festival, Wakestock.
