Fred Tackett, an original member of the band, “Little Feat,” has signed an administration deal with Missing Link Music. Fred’s association with Little Feat goes back to a friendship with the late founder of the band, Lowell George at the time of its inception. Originally from Arkansas, Fred worked on many early Little Feat albums such as “Dixie Chicken” as a studio musician, until becoming a full member by 1988 on the album “Let It Roll.” Along with Fred’s incomparable session guitar work, his mandolin and trumpet playing trademarked classic Little Feat dynamics.
